Founder

My name is Evelyn Miles Allen. I was born and raised in rural Greensville County, VA. I received my B.S. degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Richmond, VA, in December 1975.

As a child, I loved to read and enjoyed writing poetry - not realizing that this talent would lead me to a business specializing in words.

I believe that Hearts-R-Mending is divinely designed by God Himself. As a result, I have dedicated my business back to Him. He’s using me as a conduit through which to get out God-honoring words that will bless the sender and receiver of these words.

Widowed with three grown children, I enjoy sharing in one-on-one Bible studies, jogging, and spending time with family. My greatest achievements in life are hearing and obeying God's word, starting my own business, completing ten marathons and eleven 10-K events, and living long enough to be a part of the lives of my four grandprizes – one daughter and three sons.
